Hi, I'm Shaindel.

I've been singing ever since I learned to talk and started writing my own songs at ten years old. As a young girl, I dreamed of becoming a singer and releasing albums of my own. I decided to chase that dream, and it became a reality. It wasn't an easy goal to attain, and there were a lot of roadblocks along the way, but I kept pushing to reach it.

My musical journey really took off during my year in Israel. I was so inspired by the beautiful lessons I learned and the holiness around me that I couldn't stop writing songs! I picked up the guitar during that year abroad, which helped with songwriting too. My first album, Heart and Soul, released in 2008, is mostly made up of songs I wrote in Israel.

After releasing Heart and Soul, I returned to Israel for a second year and continued touring and writing music. I tried out for the women's “Wanna Be a Star” competition and made it into the final show! When I returned to the US, I worked on my second album, Change (2010), followed by music videos and my other albums, Live Today (2013) and The Sun Is Rising (2018). My music has taken me to audiences around the world, and I'm so excited to continue this journey.

My albums bring together a pop sound and meaningful messages. My aim is to inspire women and girls everywhere to feel less alone and feel good about themselves. With songs about the pursuit of happiness, connecting to G-d, and getting through hard times, there is something for everyone. I hope my songs and stories make you laugh, cry, and feel moved!
